Delete your account and data: Axiota
Axiota, by Brightfold. Last updated 11 October 2026
Axiota keeps your account, what you capture and your study progress on our servers so they follow you to a new phone. You can delete all of it at any time.
Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open Axiota and go to You.
- Tap the gear at the top (Settings), then Account.
- Under Danger zone, tap Delete account, then Continue, then Delete everything.
If the app can't delete everything (for example, you lose your connection), it says so and keeps your sign-in so you can try again. Nothing is reported as deleted until it is.
Can't open the app? Ask us
Email axiota@brightfoldapps.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request", from the email address you signed in with, and include your display name. We delete your account and data within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in (email and name from Google or Apple) and your profile. Your display name is released.
- Everything you captured: links, text, photos, PDFs and recordings, and the files uploaded with them.
- Your notes, cards and card images, review history, schedules, streaks and XP.
- Gems, items, packs and gifts on your account (they are not refundable; see the terms).
- Friends and friend requests, on both sides; blocks; duels and their results; your place in any exam cohort.
- Decks you published to Community Decks, their ratings and import records, and the ratings you left on other decks.
- Reports you filed, including the copy in our moderation records.
- Your notification token and your usage quotas.
What stays, and for how long
- Database backups: the deleted data leaves them within 7 days.
- Server logs (30 days) and app usage events (400 days) expire on their own schedule. They can't be edited, contain nothing you captured or studied, and once your account is gone the account id in them no longer leads to anyone.
- Copies other people imported: if someone already imported a deck you published, their copy (and its pictures) stays in their library so their progress isn't lost. The deck leaves the community listing.
- A gift you sent and nobody has claimed yet stays claimable by the person you sent it to, without your name on it.
- Purchase records: kept by Google Play, Apple and RevenueCat as the law requires for financial records. To have the RevenueCat record removed, email us.
