Terms of use: Profly

These terms apply when you use Profly: Tutor & Lesson Tracker ("the app"), published by Brightfold ("we"). By using the app you accept them.

Using the app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app to run your own lessons. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, and don't use it to break the law. The app is meant for adults (18 and over).

Your data and your documents

• Your data lives only on your phone. Keep a backup: export one from More → Export a backup from time to time. We cannot recover data from a lost, reset or broken phone.
• You are responsible for the details you record about your students and their families, and for having their agreement to do so.
• Invoices and receipts are made from what you enter. Profly is not accounting or tax software and gives no tax advice: check that your documents meet the rules where you work (for example, a tax number or a required mention you add in the footer).

Free and Pro

• The free version is limited to 5 active students. Pro removes the limit and adds your logo on documents (without "Made with Profly") and full statistics.
• Subscriptions (monthly or annual) renew automatically at the price shown before you buy, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel them in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trials, when offered, become a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered.
• Payments, refunds and billing are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies.
• Use Restore purchases in the app to get Pro back on a new device.
• If Pro ends, nothing is deleted: your students and history stay, and you can keep using the free features.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is". We work to keep its calculations right and the app available, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free; check important amounts before you send them. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete all its data at any time from More → Delete all data.
