Delete your account and data: Profly
Profly: Tutor & Lesson Tracker, by Brightfold. Last updated 9 October 2026
Profly keeps your teaching data (students, lessons, payments, notes) on your phone. If you signed in with Google, it also keeps a cloud backup of that data in your account. You can delete either, or both.
Delete your account and its cloud backup, in the app
- Open Profly and go to More.
- Under Your data, tap Delete account, then Delete my account. Google may ask you to confirm your account.
This deletes, at once: the cloud backup, your Profly account, and the email address and name stored with it. The data on your phone stays, so you can keep working; delete it as below if you want it gone too.
Delete everything, in the app
- Go to More and tap Delete all data, then confirm. If you want a copy first, tap Export a backup first.
This erases the app's database and settings on the phone, your account and, if you signed in, the cloud backup. Uninstalling the app also removes the data from the phone (an Android backup in your own Google account is controlled in your phone's settings).
Can't open the app? Ask us
Email profly@brightfoldapps.com from the Google address you signed in with, with the subject "Profly account deletion". We delete your account and its cloud backup within 30 days and reply when it is done. You can also ask us to delete only the cloud backup and keep the account.
What we keep
- Nothing of your teaching data once the account is deleted. The data on a phone is only deleted from that phone.
- Crash reports: deleted automatically after 30 days. They never contain your teaching data.
- Purchase records: kept by Google, Apple and RevenueCat as the law requires for financial records. To have your RevenueCat record removed, email us.
