Terms of use: Globefold

These terms apply when you use Globefold: Countries Visited ("the app"), published by Brightfold ("we"). By using the app you accept them.

Using the app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app to keep your own travel map. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, and don't use it to break the law. The app is meant for people aged 13 and over.

Your map, and what the app counts

• Your map lives on your phone. Keep a backup: sign in to keep it in your account, or export one from More → Export a backup. We cannot recover data from a lost, reset or broken phone that was not backed up.
• The Schengen 90/180 count is a calculator working only from the dates you enter. It is not legal or immigration advice, and whether the rule applies to you depends on your nationality and documents. The EU's Entry/Exit System keeps the official count; check with the authorities before you travel.
• Day counts, rankings and the share of the world are estimates from what you enter and from published survey data.
• Borders and names follow international standards (ISO 3166 and the UN). Showing a place does not mean we take a position on its status.

Free and Pro

• Pro, when it is offered, adds features shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown before you buy, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel them in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trials, when offered, become a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
• Payments, refunds and billing are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies. Use Restore purchases to get Pro back on a new device.
• If Pro ends, nothing is deleted: your map stays, and you keep the free features.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is". We work to keep its counts right and the app available, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete all its data at any time from More → Delete all data.
