Delete your account and data: Globefold
Globefold: Countries Visited, by Brightfold. Last updated 17 October 2026
Globefold keeps your map and trips on your phone. If you signed in with Google, it also keeps a copy of them in your account. You can delete either, or both.
Delete your account and its copy, in the app
- Open Globefold and go to More.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. Google may ask you to confirm your account.
This deletes, at once: the copy of your map and trips, your Globefold account, and the email address and name stored with it. The data on your phone stays; delete it as below if you want it gone too.
Delete everything, in the app
- Go to More and tap Delete all data, then confirm. If you want a copy first, export one before.
This erases the app's data and settings on the phone, your account and, if you signed in, its copy. Uninstalling the app also removes the data from the phone (an Android backup in your own Google account is controlled in your phone's settings).
Can't open the app? Ask us
Email globefold@brightfoldapps.com from the Google address you signed in with, with the subject "Globefold account deletion". We delete your account and its copy within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What we keep
- Nothing of your map once the account is deleted. The data on a phone is only deleted from that phone.
- Crash reports: deleted automatically after 30 days. They never contain your travel data.
- Purchase records, if you bought Pro: kept by Google, Apple and RevenueCat as the law requires for financial records. To have your RevenueCat record removed, email us.
